Grab your running shoes and lycra – Backup announces the Roadie Games for Kartfest 2022

Backup is delighted to announce that running (or perhaps stumbling!) alongside this year’s Kartfest will be the inaugural Roadie Games.

Originally planned as part of the 2020 Kartfest celebration, the Roadie Games promises to highlight the unique skills and talents nurtured by the industry in which we challenge ourselves on a daily basis.

This fun-filled addition to what is always a great day will kick off with the Flight Case team relay on the main track, closely followed by the field events. These will include tests of strength, endurance and industry skills such as the Socapex Tug of War, Radio Mic Challenge, Follow Spot Small Bore competition and Lamp and Spoon race.

The Roadie Games will run alongside the annual industry karting day with drivers and non-drivers encouraged to enter. New entrants specifically for this event are also welcome.
