Backup Village Fete 2026
The Backup Parish Council are delighted to announce the BVF is re-vamped for 2026 and is at its new home of Whilton Mill Karting Circuit – this is set to be the biggest and best Village Fete yet!

The Village Fete takes place on Thursday July 9th and its new home, a nationally recognised motorsport venue means more space and more facilities, with access to a three-hour karting challenge on a UK National Karting Circuit, expanded capacity and improved facilities, more activities and ways to get involved.
Tickets will go on sale in two phases * –
- 09:00 AM on Tuesday 24th March, for Backup Partners
- 09:00 AM on Thursday 26th March, for General Sale

Hospitality Packages and Day Pass Tickets –
For 2026 we have 2x Hospitality Packages and the usual individual Day Pass ticket:
Kart Team Package (£1,601.00) – Each team may enter up to 6x drivers for the three-hour endurance race. Entry into our 5 Star Cases ‘Flight Case Relay’ and a Village Pitch (space to pitch your own gazebo, so you can get involved in all the action from a comfortable base)
Gamekeepers Pitch Package (£361.00) – This includes 6 x tickets and a space to pitch your own gazebo, so you can get involved in all the action from a comfortable base
Individual Estate Day Pass (£66.00)– The Estate Day Pass gives you access to roam and enjoy all the fun of our Village Fete!
What’s included in your hospitality package and day pass ticket:
Automatic entry into our ‘Best Dressed Villager’ competition for those who come dressed to impress on the day, in an outfit that exemplifies Village Fete or Village and countryside theme.
Lunch and soft drinks (the latter throughout the day) including an ice cream from the Ice Cream van!
Option to enter the usual Backup Village Fete competitions; ‘Bake Off’and ‘Veg Off’.
Plus, more exciting activities to be announced in the run up to the event!
“We know the change of venue and the excitement of a new karting track are going to be a big draw,” says Backup Chair, Lee Dennison. “There’s also overnight camping available and the opportunity to get together the night before. There will be more details on that later, and we’ll also be sharing information on local hotels. This is going to be something really special, so make sure you book your tickets quickly, before they all get snapped up!”
